Description

Hello, this auction is for a really unique conversation piece. From the mid 1800’s to the early 1900’s in the western states the “Red Light” district was generally located at the local saloon.. In order to partake in the carnal pleasures available you would pay the bartender and he would give you a token to redeem in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Today if you were lucky enough to own a real “Whorehouse/Cathouse Token” it would be valued at several hundred dollars. I am offering realistic, metal REPLICA tokens which are exact copies of some of the tokens used back then. These 1 ¾” metal tokens are blank-backed and at the time of placing this ad I have 4 different available.

This particular token reads, “ SHANGHAI REDS SALOON, EL PASO – No Peekie, Just Feelie and Dooie”.

S&H is $2.50 for up to 2 of these tokens, add 25¢ for each additional token.
Insurance is optional unless the package value is $25.00 or more, at which point insurance WILL be added.
